| About Matt McManamon Picking up the Bass Guitar was a part of a natural progression for Matt. Working and growing up in the home of a music business family, Matt learned early on the intricacies of recording and music production. The label Matt worked for, as fate would have it, produced Ottomatic Slim’s first album! He has held prior positions with bands such as, The Reprobate Blues Band, Stoneyhill, and The Midnight Movers. While living for a time in Nashville and Memphis, Matt was jamming on Bass with, among others, Mr. Johnny Holiday, (Johnny played Carl Perkins in the Johnny Cash movie “Walk the Line”). We are happy to welcome Matt into the Ottomatic Slim Family! |

| About Natasha Natasha grew up in an extraordinary musical family. With her grandmother being a self-taught pianist (she could play like and revered Liberace). Natasha followed in her footsteps, at the age of 5 teaching her self to play piano. Natasha’s father, (who attended Lowell Music Academy), is talented in many musical instruments. He received a tempting offer from the Philadelphia Symphony Orchestra but declined and proceeded to instruct Natasha in clarinet and saxophone. Natasha became the first seat Clarinetist and Sax player in all school jazz bands until she was 15. Concurrently she had started practice with “other bands”. Leading astray from the family norm, Natasha became the lead singer for a few local bands starting in 1980 through the mid 90’s. Local bands included The Passing Stones, Kaoss, The John Stone Project, Bohem, later to become Purple Crush. The complications of sneaking the underage singer into clubs in the 80’s became a game for the long standing band Bohem/Purple Crush and the clubs didn’t seem to mind once the show was on. The band(s) played such clubs as Spit, the Rat, The Rack, Lupo’s, Avalon, The Loft, East Side Checker Club and outside The Loof Carousel, The Strand and The living Room (now one in the same?). Natasha’s vocal resume included Pat Benatar, Aretha Franklin, The Supremes, The Marvelettes, The Shangri-La’s, Joe Jackson, The Eagles, Queen, Free, Squeeze, The Knack, Meatloaf, and much to the bands disapproval, flawlessly kick up an Andrew Sisters tune. In 1985 Natasha completed a 3 year Auto Mechanic course (in only 9months). She attended Photography School for Art and Design in 1987 at Blue Hills. While working R & D and Technical Engineer work for Motorola she later returned to Blue Hills for Electro-Mechanical-Technical-Engineering in 1993. In 2007 Natasha starting working with Ottomatic Slim |
